Abstract
Climate change is one of the defining environmental challenges of the twenty-first century. Rising average temperatures, changing rainfall patterns, melting ice, and more frequent extreme weather events affect ecosystems, economies, and communities. Addressing this challenge requires coordinated action at international, national, and local levels. This article examines the causes and consequences of climate change and highlights practical responses, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, ecosystem protection, and adaptation planning. It argues that lasting progress depends on sound public policy, scientific cooperation, and meaningful participation by citizens and businesses.
