Abstract

Green innovation applies new technologies, services, and ways of organizing society to reduce environmental harm while supporting human well-being. It includes renewable energy, efficient buildings, circular production, cleaner transport, water-saving systems, and better approaches to waste. These solutions can reduce pollution and resource use, but their benefits depend on thoughtful planning, accessible financing, and responsible management of materials. This article reviews key areas of green innovation and argues that technology is most effective when combined with public policy, community participation, and changes in everyday practices.
